The Galeón Andalucía, a stunning replica of a 17th-century Spanish galleon, is currently sailing the world, serving as a cultural ambassador for Spain and a testament to Andalusian maritime history. The meticulously crafted vessel, built by the Nao Victoria Foundation, has recently completed a European tour, visiting cities across England, France, Netherlands, and Germany, before embarking on its global voyage.

A Journey Around the Globe

The Galeón Andalucía has already travelled over 100,000 nautical miles, making stops at key ports worldwide. This includes destinations like Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Manila, and New York, where it has captured the imagination of over 150,000 visitors. The ship’s journey showcases the enduring legacy of Spanish maritime history and the skill of Andalusian shipbuilding.

A Majestic Vessel

The Galeón Andalucía is a majestic vessel, stretching 55 meters long with six decks crafted from iroko and pine wood. Seven sails unfurl across its 1000 square meters of surface area, demonstrating the scale and artistry of its construction. The replica, meticulously built in Punta Umbría, Huelva, Spain, stands as a testament to the tradition and skill of Andalusian shipbuilding.

A Journey Through Time

Visitors to the Galeón Andalucía can explore the ship independently, taking self-guided tours.
